Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop performer. Her work has been in the margins of traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she has also delved into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of this young artist as sweet and sharp and grit. El Mal Querer is her second album, made available in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released on March 20, 2022 after performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program.
